Top Ten hit, but forgotten.

Rare Earth was the first band signed by Motown that consisted of all-white members, that had solid hit records.  In 1970 they took a Temptations song and gave it the Rare Earth treatment, and the song climbed to #7 on the Hot 100.  "I Know I'm Losing You" is a classic, covered by many artists, notably Rod Stewart, and yet the Rare Earth version is nearly forgotten today.
