So how old were you?

I got into rock and roll when I was quite young... and a number of my friends did as well! So, how old were you when these "rock & roll events" occurred in your life?
1. the first haircut?
2. when you discovered headphones?
3. when you had your first wild party?
4. when you discovered playboy?
5. when you got your first cool t-shirt?
6. when you got "into pot"?
7. when you discovered fishing?

BOLD LIES & OLD GOSSIP - "Survivor - 4/23"

Yeah, I admit it... I'm a Survivor junkie. I've never missed an episode - ever. I live for the blind side, the alliance destroyed, the babe sliding under the radar, and the Tarzan-Like alpha male that gets ousted by the little people that probably couldn't survive a night alone in a damp garage.

And this week's episode had me roaring with laughter and satisfaction! Sierra, the little blonde model is told by Tyson (pompous jerk) that she's getting voted out... and instead Tyson gets the boot! PRICELESS! He even said beforehand that he hoped she'd cry a lot when the votes were read. Tyson also told Sierra how stupid she was! Now remember, Tyson is the genius that was running around nude in front of his tribe back in week one... yup, a genuine genius! And now he's voted out!!! I gotta admit, I roared out loud! Scared the heck out of the cats.

I've got a good feeling that next week we get to see Coach go bye-bye. Coach is another pompous jerk, but Coach meditates while watching his muscles ripple and talks about escaping pygmy tribes in Brazil... this should be good!

Keith's BOLD LIES & OLD GOSSIP (Keith's B.L.O.G.)

Hey, welcome to the first blog I've ever had (this is so exciting!).

Basically what all this means is that if you're here you get the chance to read about me, or stuff I care about. And so you know what you're getting in to, this means you'll probably read about things like this:

1. camping - which the wife and I love to do.
2. drums - because I play drums in a classic rock/oldies band.
3. guitars - because I'd probably rather be playing guitar in the band.
4. guns - because I'm a competitive cowboy action shooter.

and finally...
5. rock and roll - because, well gee it's what I do.

Now you have to look at the picture... that's me playing my faithful old Slingerland drums at a practice. And yeah, I'm grinning... and yeah, I'm singing. I forgot to mention that, I'm also the majority singer. I won't say lead singer because the three other guys (would pound me) are actually all talented and they all sing too. But I sing the most songs, so I say majority singer. And yeah, you can tell your aunt Millicent and uncle Willard for me that singing and playing drums at the same time is hard. Fun, but hard.

More later... see ya!
