Today's Forgotten Oldie...

"Over Under Sideways Down" was a Yardbirds hit in 1966, going to #13 in the U.S. and #10 in the UK. It was also the album's title song.  Interestingly. the song was based on "Rock Around The Clock" by Bill Haley and the Comets, reworked and "psychedelisized" by lead guitarist Jeff Beck.  The song is a classic 60's Yardbirds rock song, with plenty of experimentation and a nice hook.  It's one of my Yardbird faves!
