American singer Bob Lind hit #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 with the song "Elusive Butterfly" on March 12, 1966, exactly 48 years ago today. Although a one-hit wonder, Bob is an amazing guy with successful books, plays and screenplays, plus songs he's written have been recorded by dozens of artists around the world. Elusive Butterfly is a cool song, although dated it is a great example of 60's folk-rock.
