Today's Forgotten Oldie...

The Leaves were an American Garage Rock band that scored a top-twenty hit in 1966 with "Hey Joe".  The song became a rock standard, covered by nearly every local band and many big names from Hendrix to the Byrds to the Cryan Shames.  The song is a great example of Garage Rock and the American answer to the British Invasion.
