The original album cut was famously over 17 minutes long, however the 45 edit was just 3 minutes long and reached #30 on the Hot 100 in 1967. The song is one of the first to open the door from psychedelic rock to heavy metal, Rumors persist today the the title was supposed to be In The Garden of Eden, but that lead singer Doug Ingle was a little drunk and somehow the title changed. Regardless, it's a truly historic rock song, and today mostly forgotten...
