SURVIVOR 5/14 - SO LONG COACH!!

Coach got the boot. Finally... the warrior is gone. I have to admit though, I'll miss his (unintended) comedic comments and his drama queen antics. But again, let's get something straight... this guy is no warrior. Everything he does is sadly hilarious. He gets sent to exile island and all of a sudden he has bad discs in his back and "terrible" asthma. Plus he insists that for two days he'll eat nothing, for two days he'll drink nothing, and then he says that will make him stronger.

Of course then when he competes for immunity he collapses to the ground with back spasms (see picture). This whole episode is designed to show that the mighty warrior could only be defeated by circumstances beyond his control... poppycock. What a ham, what a drama queen, what a liar. I've said it before, this guy is a joke. Someday this guy will bilk old ladies out of their life savings. Goodbye coach, I won't shed any tears over you.

Keith's Easy Fashions...

Ladies... what could be easier than making a tank top out of your hubby's old jockey shorts? A great tip for all you re-cyclers out there! And how green can you get?? Well, hopefully you cut out any green...

SURVIVOR - 5/7/09 - Bye bye Debbie!

Well, I can't believe Coach didn't get voted off. But as usual, he had no clue who the rest were going to vote for... and the school principal got the boot. And in reality, she was Coach's last true ally so I guess it was all right. Debbie had been flying under the radar a long time. It still amazes me how Coach acts like he's controlling the game, maybe finally he'll get the message that he isn't the warrior leader he professes to be. I still think he's one of the biggest phonies in the history of the game... how did he last this long???

Oh well, bye bye Debbie!

SURVIVOR 4/30

Well, I was wrong... Coach survived and Sierra didn't. Why do I always root for the hottie? I'm still wondering how Taj, JT, Stephen and Errin could possibly feel Sierra posed a threat to them. It makes you wonder if fasting saps the ability to reason.
But... and here's my big BUTT-DIG for the day. Coach made some stoney-faced announcement to everyone that he hadn't lied, and that honesty and courage were what he lived by. This of course all happened after a five minute segment showing him saying exactly the oppositte of what he swore he'd said. This from a guy who seems to revel in being on camera and in his mind has created some weird noble knight-warrior personna that it's glaringly obvious he's not even close to being. If his dimwitted posturing continues, he could easily wind up as the most laughed at contestant in the history of Survivor. What an idiot.
Keep watching... Coach's demise will be soon. And his hazing on the reunion show will be GLORIOUS.

Here's a list of some of Coach's lies to date:

1. he did not try to recruit Sierra

2. he was captured by Amazonian Pygmy cannibals

3. he has a kayak world record (wrong by 3,000 miles)

4. he knows Chinese martial arts (nobody's heard of his art)

So how old were you?

I got into rock and roll when I was quite young... and a number of my friends did as well! So, how old were you when these "rock & roll events" occurred in your life?
1. the first haircut?
2. when you discovered headphones?
3. when you had your first wild party?
4. when you discovered playboy?
5. when you got your first cool t-shirt?
6. when you got "into pot"?
7. when you discovered fishing?
